In this video I will talk about smart lighting solutions and highlight the option that I’ve installed in my home, the Philips Hue lights. Although there are many companies producing smart lighting, Philips have probably the easiest setup and installation as well as a simple app which is user friendly and well thought out. Their solution in compatible with voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home and they have a wide range of bulbs, lamps and other devices.

They are expensive compared to their competitors like Osram and IKEA, but they offer the most complete solution at the moment, and with increased competition I’m hopeful prices may drop.
